I think I am going to make a series of photomanips where they are half-animal, half-human. I love books like Maximum Ride and stuff, so I think this will be fun for me!

I am entering this in 's Passion Contest. My written story is below, just a little something that inspired me to make this. I think I like the idea, but it still needs some work. Every piece of art I do is made from my passion for it, but when it also has to do with a story, then I am fully immersed into tweaking it to perfection.

The changes started happening even before I was born. The doctors who worked on my mother, they did something to her. I may never know what, but it had something to do with my DNA. She and my father had no clue. As I was growing up, both my parents and I slowly learned that I was different. When I touched the water when I was little, scales started appearing all over my body, spreading slowly. It wasn't like I was turning into a mermaid or anything, I was just...changing. Changing into something that was not normal, something not fully human. It got worse as I grew older. The scales started to appear whenever I even got close to water, which was hard to avoid. I had to be hidden. Years of my life, wasted in hiding from the world. Then one day strangers appeared on my doorstep, informing my parents that they knew about me...that they were the reason I was this way. My father threatened to turn them in, but they were cornered. The people knew a place where I could walk freely, where I could be myself. But I had to come with them. When we arrived at the place, I saw all sorts of other confused kids who were half-human, half-something else. I felt a sharp burst of fury at these people who had done this to us, who had gone outside of the boundaries known to the average scientist and changed us in this horrible way. Yet at the same time, I was happy that I was not alone. Or at least that if I had to be alone in the world, I could be alone with others.

**Probably not that good. Like I said, the story hasn't fully worked itself out yet and I had to make it kind of short, but I hope you like it anyway....think more of the idea than the words**
